Hi!

I am looking to get started with djdecks and I'm wondering what all I need. I have a 13.3" macbook pro, 2.26, released last fall. What do I need in terms of hardware in order to hook my turntables/mixer up to my laptop, aside from some final scratch vinyl?

Thanks!

you will either need a soundcard with 2 stereo ins and outs plus two phono preamps or a soundcard with the smae specs and phono preamps included. i´d advise m-audio conectiv since it seems to be the cheapest soundcard on the market. you can as well use the native instruments dj4 soundcard.

got it, thanks. do you know if the final scratch open works for this? It's half the price of the connectiv. granted, that might have something to do with the fact that its no longer in production. :)
