djDecks

Hello
I´ve downloaded djdecks demo for MacOSX to try with my maya 44 usb and timecode vinyls.
When i go to Menu/Options/Sound i select external mixer but when i want to select my output device djdecks crash . There is an error to select output device. I can select Maya 44 usb on input device.

I´m using Snow Leopard and i´ve downloaded Maya 44 usb drivers and control panel from esi-audio.com

Any suggestions?

Nobody use maya 44 usb on Mac with timecode vinyls?

Could you try if it works if you just select the maya44 as default output in your mac os preferences instead of in djdecks?

I have selected my maya as audio device on audio/midi configuration panel on my mac but i have the same error...

I don't know if this will work or not, but it's free so it might be worth a shot:

I have gotten sound from djDecks through Jack without issue, an from jack to my audio interfaces. If Jack gets sound to your Maya without crashing, maybe you can route sound from djDecks out to virtual Jack inputs without crashing as well. At the very least in might tell us which part is failing for you.

I have 4 timecodes vinyls (2torq and 2 FS) that i use with my maya 44 usb on Deckadance without problems and i want to try with djdecks but i don´t know/understand why my djdecks (demo version) crashes when i want to select my output device on audio settings.....

Me too.

I am able to use the Maya44 output through the Apple system preferences - sound, but that's useless for me if the inputs can't be assigned.

I use these settings:


Buffer size at 64 gives cracked sound. 128 is good, no noticiable lag so far. This setup however seems unstable, it might still might crash all of a sudden.

Any chance the normal way is going to be fixed (if possible) Adion?

Actually if it's goes fine first, it looks stable. We'll see the coming weeks.
