dear users,

Just to see if i'm the only one.....

sometimes when i do a backspin (and stop the cdj) djdecks keep spinning the track back...

it's not something that happends all the time, but it's quite annoying when you've got 1 hand for the backspin and pause cd player, 1 hand for the effect you want. but you need a thirth when djdecks desides to go nuts to whack the fader down.

and since i don't live near a nuclear powerplant i can forget about the thirth hand. (just making a joke here)

but ok,

adion and other users would you be so kind to check if you have the same problems? it's with the djdecks Beta Timecode and the problem is with different versions :)

peace!

So while the cd is playing your signal strength and number of codes detected are good?

jup when playing straight forward there is no problem.

when playing reverse, everything is fine.

but once in a while when i make a backspin and stop the disc the song keeps reversing even when i eject the cd.

when i make a "noise" with the disc (so a scratch or press cue) it comes out if its mayhem backspin.

i thought at first it could be the cdj but when it happend i listened to the signal comming out and there was only silence.
so i'm guessing a kind of buffer overflow from the esi u46dj (although it isn't that thight 265) or djdecks going nuts. (usually i create a loop before a backspin so it keeps going nuts in the backspin). yesterday i tried to tape the problem/bug but it's so random...

Is it only happening when you have the loop enabled?

You could also try if it happens with the SSL CD timecode as well.

nope it also happends when having no loops :(

and the SSL code isn't absolute right?
i tried the ssl code once i think but i wasn't quite happy about it can't remember why, so i'll just go and try again.

bare in mind this can be a long problem since i can't reproduce it and it occures only a few times a month.

thanks adion! :) now i'm gonna search an download link for the SSL code (i swear i've seen it on the forums once).

Yes, I think someone posted the SSL CD download link, but I don't remember either.

It works in absolute mode, but you have to install the SSL CD plugin from the djDecks vinyl control download page (and you can only have one SSL plugin installed at a time, so if you also need the vinyl plugin then this may not be an option for you)
