Djd sometimes doesn't close - meaning - I can get several instances of djd running in Task Manager - of-course - once I close the original running djd - the other instances don't show on screen, but they are present in the task manager.
This might also have been fixed in the last build, but I'm not entirely sure, so I'll keep an eye on it. I don't think I've seen this happen myself lately.
Also I noticed it says djdecksdx.exe *32 in Task Manager - I don't know if 64 bit compatibility is on your to do list or if it makes a difference performance wise
The code is ready for 64-bit, but I also need to find 64-bit versions for the dependencies that djDecks uses. I will try this later of course. I think it could bring a little performance improvement, but probably not that much.
Pitch fluctuations - I have the m44-7 needles(famous for picking up dust) - One of my TT's was fluctuating like crazy( extreme audible slowing and speeding up) - I checked in my other software to to ensure it wasnt my TT.. So djd needs to tighten up in that aspect - pitch fluctuations with dirt needles. Ex in my other software the deck sounds garbled(that's how I know its time to clean the needle) when there is too much dust on the needle but there is no fluctuation..
Was this after callibration? If so I suppose the pitch variation value would have been quite high. Could you try to lower it / set it back to its default value? I suspect this will make the pitch tighter, but also cause the garbling sound due to very fast fluctuations.
Downloading plugings - Not much of a big deal but
1. Needs a better visual indicator to indicate a download is in progress.
2. Djd didn't detect the right plugin for me.. I am using scratch live - It downloaded traktor.
3. The djd serato plugin doesnt download to the right directory - Of-course it was complied for the original djd so it is understandable
It won't detect the plugin, it will download all available plugins. It should download them to a 'vinylcontrol' sub-folder in your user settings dir where they should be found by djDecks DX.
